It is operated using two independent hydraulic cylinders and it can be made to suit any make or model of tractor loader, telehandler, skid steer or wheel loader.

Features:

  • Requires extra hydraulic outlet (Third function)
  • Ideal for handling plastic wrapped silage bales
  • Operates using two independent hydraulic cylinders

2 Bale Hay Grab

For handling and stacking two bales at a time this attachment is ideal. Its design allows for two bales to be picked up horizontally then rotated 90 degrees and to be stacked vertically on their end. Similarly to all other attachments, these can be mounted onto any tractor loader, telehandler, skid steer or wheel loader model. The extra height allows for high stacking into sheds and speed is greatly increased by handling two bales.

Features:

  • Ideal for stacking round bales high into sheds
  • Makes stacking faster and more efficient
  • Requires extra hydraulic outlet (third function)
  • Approx Weight 265kg

Square Bale Grab

Perfect for loading into Feed Mixers

McCormack’s Square Bale Grab greatly reduces time and increases the safety in loading hay bales into mixer bins. The side squeezing action of the grab allows square bales to be taken directly from the stack, strings cut off at ground level and then dumped directly into the mixer bin. Simply lift the cut bale over the mixer and open the grab and the loose bale will fall in, no need to lean over the bin to remove strings. Two replaceable spears each side, operated by independent hydraulic cylinders can be retracted far enough to spear the bale to stack them hard side by side. This attachment can be made to suit all makes of skid steer, front end loader or Telehandler.

Features:

  • The safest way to load bales into feed mixer bins
  • Replaceable nylon slide
  • Replaceable spears
  • Available with paddle grab arms also
  • Requires third function to operate grab

Bale Unwinder
A Bale Unwinder is the tool to use to unravel a Round Bale for feeding, mulching or portioning. The main spear goes through the centre of the bale and the alignment spears allow the bale to be unwound. This allows half a bale to be easily unloaded into a mixer bin or spread out to be fed in paddocks. A hydraulic motor allows for precise control of the bales rotation. This attachment can be made to suit all makes of skid steer, front end loader or Telehandler.

Features:
  • Precise way to load bales into feed mixer bins
  • Replaceable bronze bushes
  • Hydraulic control of bale rotation
  • Requires third function to operate grab
